I am very much trying to analyze this book on its own merits and not compare it to her other two books. I liked this. It was clever. It is frightening to contemplate that you could fall in love with and marry someone and not know them at all. Not realize you're married to a sociopath, yet there are books and movies that remind of this all the time. What's so unique about this book is seeing both sides, how it happened, how it builds and how hopeless it can feel. I hope I haven't given any spoilers, I try to stay away from plot in my reviews.
Not as good as her other two, but chilling, nonetheless. I'm looking forward to seeing the movie now.
